Checking out

A big thanks to grandfather Jan and Dow for pick-up and return to Bangkok airports, as well as housing and free use of SUV, pick-up, motorcycle and tractor! Since Anders drove most of the way from and to Bangkok, he sort of forced everyone to go to Ayutthaya - the previous capital of Thailand - instead of going straight to the airport. (As opposed to Astrid and Jan, Anders does not like to be at the airport well in advance. And planes have been missed.) At least, we got a taste of the ruins. Here's a picture to prove it. Next time we're in Thailand, we might take some time to stroll around some of the pagodas.
