Every year, my father is complaining about how cold it is in Thailand in the winter, from December to January. This year has been particularily cold - just like in the USA and Europe. We've always laughed it away, but living in a house without insulation when it's 13 degrees C (about 55 F) during the night is cold. Especially when there's only one tiny little heater in the house and comforters are meant for warm nights.
Nao, mei? (Cold, isn't it?)
Luckily, warm food is served for all meals! I just love Thai food, although it's liable to get insanely spicy at times. Here's something that's not spicy at all, but may be very... perfumed. Cassava (locally called man, as in manioc) is similar to sweet potato. Just bake it in the oven and dig in!
Really cold? Yes. . Astrid and Fam look cold little bit. But in Thailand?
